Europe was the first continent outside of North America served back in the days when we were Aero Airlines. In fact, we took the name AmEuro in 1998 to represent America and Europe. Our route system in Europe is fairly extensive and inlcudes just about every country in the region and a few in Africa and the Middle East. There are many areas created by add-on scenery specialists which makes Europe a nice place to fly around in. If you have add-on AI traffic you can see many interesting airline liveries on display in this region. Some of the best places for pilots to visit are:
  • LOWW - Vienna, Austria. Landing in between two mountains requires precision approaches. Add to that the low cloud cover and you've got a recipe for a nail biting landing.
  • EGLL - London, England. You can't fly around Europe without landing at the ever-famous Heathrow airport.
  • LEMD - Madrid, Spain. High altitude and a chance to see airlines from South America make this a good stop.
  • HECA - Cairo, Egypt. Any chance to see the Pyramids is worth the trip.
  • OMDB - Dubai, UAE. The developments here are the nice attraction if you have some quality add-on scenery.
  • LFMN - Nice, France. Nice approach from the bay and what a beautiful backdrop. Just gorgeous.
  • LIRF - Rome, Italy. Historical and beautiful.
  • EDDF - Frankfurt, Germany. Another great airport for aircraft spotting and there are allot of add-on sceneries for EDDF, freeware and payware.
